A free allowance in public Beta.

Every new account gets 6 free units once, with no card. Plus, a paid subscription, is not open for purchase yet.

Start a yard plan

Your Beta allowance

6 units once per new account, free: enough for a first plan with its Visual Concept, then one area refinement with a new Visual Concept. Sign-in required, no card.

  • A plan or a refinement1 unit each
  • A Visual Concept2 units, given back if it is not made

Choosing plants, marking the picture, saving, reopening and sharing a brief do not use the allowance, and an allowance that is used up never locks what you saved. Daily capacity for the whole Beta is limited too, so a request can occasionally be paused; your saved work is never affected.

Plus

50 paid credits every service month for more plans, area refinements and Visual Concepts. Same credits on both; only how you pay differs.

Plus is not open for purchase yet.

How Plus credits work

What a credit buys
A plan, a refinement of one area, or a Visual Concept uses 1 paid credit.
Service months
Each paid service month starts with 50 credits. On Annual, a new 50 arrives at the start of each of the 12 months you paid for.
No rollover
Credits you have not used expire when their service month ends. They do not carry over to the next month.
Free units stay separate
Your one-time free Beta units are not Plus credits. Plans and refinements use free units first and ask before using a paid credit; a Visual Concept uses a paid credit first when you have one.
Canceling
Canceling stops the next renewal only. You keep what you already paid for until that period ends, including the remaining monthly credits of a paid year.

Plus does not include unlimited use, HD or 4K downloads, measured construction drawings, human design review, priority processing, team seats or commercial-use rights.

Your saved plans, versions and Visual Concepts stay in your account if you cancel or run out of credits. A request that fails returns its credit. Daily capacity can pause new requests; saved work is never affected. All prices are in US dollars. Taxes may apply depending on your location and applicable law. Full terms: Billing & Refunds.

Bought a plan before the Beta?

Earlier subscriptions and Project Packs continue unchanged, with the same credits and expiry dates. Your credits work in the yard-plan workspace: 1 paid credit per Visual Concept first, and 1 per plan or refinement after your free allowance is used up and you confirm. Manage or cancel it, or a Plus subscription, from your account.

Questions

What does the public Beta cost?
Nothing, and no card. A new account receives a one-time free allowance of 6 units when it makes its first plan: a plan or a refinement of one area uses 1, and a Visual Concept uses 2. That is enough for a first plan with its Visual Concept, then one area refinement with a new Visual Concept; every other plan, refinement or Concept draws on the same units. It does not reset. Anything that fails to be made is given back. When the allowance is used up, your saved plans, plant choices and shared briefs stay available. Accounts that already hold a larger Beta allowance keep it.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Plans, their versions and anything you share are saved to your account, and the allowance belongs to it. Sign in with an email link or with Google.
What happens to unused Plus credits?
They expire at the end of their service month and do not roll over. Each new paid service month starts with 50 credits; an annual purchase adds them month by month rather than 600 at once.
If I cancel Plus, do I lose what I paid for?
No. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep the current paid period and its credits until it ends (on Annual, the remaining monthly credits of the paid year too), and your saved plans stay in your account afterwards.
I already have a subscription or a Project Pack. What changes?
Nothing is cancelled or converted. Your plan renews or ends exactly as before, with the same credits and expiry dates, and you can manage or cancel it from your account. Your credits now work in the yard-plan workspace: a Visual Concept uses 1 paid credit first, and a plan or refinement uses 1 paid credit after your free Beta allowance is used up and you confirm. A failed charged call is given back. Your earlier designs stay in your account with their downloads.
What does a plan include?
A planting plan for the photo of your yard: named areas, what changes in each, and plants suggested for your location when you give one. You can choose plants, refine one area at a time, save versions and share a read-only brief. A Visual Concept is an AI illustration of the plan, not a construction drawing.
